MANSFIELD MOTORSPORTS PARK This website is an online resource for Nascar enthusiasts, so if you have a great picture of Mansfield Motorsports Park, send it to us for inclusion here. We also want your track stories. Mansfield Raceway, a three-eighths-mile dirt oval, opened in the spring of 1959 and was stretched to a half-mile in 1972. In 1998 a group of Cleveland area men rescued the track from its demise at a sheriff's auction. In the spring of 1999 the dirt track received a blacktop surface and reopened as Mansfield Motorsports Speedway.
Track Location: Camping at Mansfield Motorsports Park (taken from the official site) Mansfield Motorsports Park (M.M.P) offers a limited number of general Camping & RV parking on site for all of their major events. For the NASCAR Craftsmen Truck Series and I.H.R.A Nitro Jam general RV parking will cost $50.00 in advance or $60.00 the day of the event. RV parking normally opens on Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m of event week and must vacate Monday by 9:00a.m. Entrance to the RV lots are off Route 545. These lots provide roads and a short walk to the main grandstand entrance. All RV's MUST be self contained. Lots are a first come first served basis ONLY! Please be COURTEOUS to other guest. M.M.P reserves the right to oversee the RV areas. If you are asked to move your vehicle, please cooperate. You are camping at your own RISK! Let's make M.M.P a safe and exciting place for all fans.
