MILWAUKEE MILE This website is an online resource for Nascar enthusiasts, so if you have a great picture of Milwaukee Mile, send it to us for inclusion here. We also want your track stories. Since 1903, The Milwaukee Mile has been one of the premier venues in American motorsports. It is the oldest operating motor speedway in the world. The list past winners at MM is a "who's-who" of racing history: Barney Oldfield, Rex Mays, Parnelli Jones, A.J. Foyt, the Unsers, the Andrettis and Dale Earnhardt Jr. The Milwaukee Mile undergone many recent improvements, including a new all-aluminum bleacher and grandstand seating, a new pit wall, a new scoring pylon, a repaving and retrofit of the infield road course, and the construction of a permanent infield care center building. The new fan-friendly grandstands seat nearly 40,000 as well as provide significantly enhanced restrooms and concession areas.
Track Location: Camping at Milwaukee Mile (taken from the official site) According to the official site, Milwaukee County’s only Recreational Vehicle Park is conveniently located 300 yards behind Turn 3 of the speedway, on the Wisconsin State Fair Grounds at South 76th Street. The RV Park is easily accessible from the I-94 Interstate System and provides 70 full-service sites (sewer, water & electrical) for vacationers to utilize. A few of the on-site amenities include a sanitary dumping station, a common potable water station, security personnel, Men’s & Women’s restrooms with showers, and much more! Sorry, no tent camping is permitted. The speedway cannot be seen from the RV Park.
